Thank you for choosing to use MySchoolBucks to securely and conveniently pay for your student’s school meals this school year.

We’re updating the program fee you pay at checkout in MySchoolBucks when funding your student’s meal account to $3.25 for each credit/debit card payment beginning on March 7th. Please note that if your district accepts e-checks, the program fee when paying by electronic check will be $2.75 per meal payment on the same date.

Due to rising payment processing interchange fees and increased operational costs, this adjustment to our per-transaction program fee for school meals is necessary to continue providing you with the best and most secure online payment experience.

If you would like to make changes to your saved payment methods or automatic payment settings, please log into your MySchoolBucks account.  For questions, please call our support team at 855-832-5226.

December 2023

Dear Parent or Guardian:

We are pleased to announce that all students enrolled at Southold Union Free School District will be able to receive a FREE breakfast and lunch meal at school beginning on January 1, 2024.

This implementation is a result of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) expanding access to the federal Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). CEP allows eligible schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs to offer school meals at no charge to all students. Money may also be placed into the students account in advance and as the student purchases a la carte items their account will be debited.

What does this mean for your child(ren) attending Southold Elementary and Southold High School? Great News! Effective January 1, 2024, all students enrolled at Southold Union Free School District will receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at no cost to your household. No further action is required of you.

If you have any further questions, please contact us at (631) 765-5400 x 1310.

Sincerely,

Charles Scheid
Assistant Superintendent for Business
